this print was inked by rolling ink onto the surface of the collagraph plate and creating a print using the relief technique. So the higher surface areas of the plate have printed

this is an intaglio print where the ink was pushed into the marks in the plates surface, the wiped leaving ink in the marks and then printed using an etching press
